Surf Wake & Ski’s summer camps teaches water skiing, wakeboarding and wakesurfing on Lake Norman - with expert instructors and a focus on fun, confidence and safety.

Campers jump into the day by getting their life jacket and a quick briefing from our certified coaches. Riders should come prepped with sunscreen and towel.
30 minute drop off window before camp starts. Camp will depart promptly at 8:30 and 2, please have campers dropped off in the 30 minute arrival window before each camp begins.

Campers will spend all of the time on the water, building their confidence, and skills on the water alongside new friends.

Campers are allowed to bring snacks to eat while they are not on the water. If we have allergies on board we'll make each parent aware prior to the camp starting for the safety of all campers. If signed up for both sessions please pack a lunch for them for our mid day break.

We'll end the day with a closing circle before campers head home for the evening. We'll be back at the dock at 12:30 and 6, please be ready to pick up your campers promptly.
We offer morning and afternoon camps, Monday through Wednesday in June and July.

Campers range in ages from 6 to 15 years old, with all different skill levels. We love seeing the dynamics form between younger campers and older campers - everyone become family by the end of the week.

We recommend campers bring a towel, sunscreen, water bottle, sunglasses and a snack or lunch depending on your session time.

Camp sessions can accommodate up to 6 riders per group.

Sessions will operate rain or shine. If the trip is cancelled due to storms or extreme weather conditions you may choose a full refund, gift card for the full amount or rescheduling your experience. If a partial session is cancelled a prorated refund or credit will be issued for the amount of time missed. Surf, Wake, & Ski reserves the right to make all inclement weather related decisions.
If cancelled 7 days or more prior you will receive a full refund (144 hours +), 4-6 or less days prior 80% of booking amount refunded (72-144 hours), 72 hours prior 50% refund, 24-48 hours prior 25% refund, less than 24 hours and no show will receive no refund. Credit card processing fees will not be refunded. Please call for extenuating circumstances and we will do our best to be flexible if possible.

That’s our favorite starting point. Instructors build confidence in stages - no one is rushed. Our coaches have successfully helped hundreds of riders master water sports for the very first time.

Feel free to bring your own gear! If you are looking to get more comfortable on your board or skis this is a great way to do it. If you are bringing your own, remember all life vests must be USCG-approved.
